I’m Cat, and I live in beautiful, quirky Colorado, USA. I am a data nerd by day and a knitter, handspinner, traveler, and lifelong learner the rest of the time. I have a husband named Tony and a fantastic grown-up kid. We’ve had lots of pets in the past, but don’t have any at the moment.

Hearth & Highway is about learning new things and practicing old ones, both at home and while traveling. I enjoy discovering the history, geography, geology, food, music, stories, traditions, plants, textiles, and cultures of different places. The colors and textures of yarn and fiber and fabric make my heart happy, and I love the process of creating with them. Ride along with me, and let’s see what we can see.
